Q-Tec and Siemens have entered into a strategic collaboration agreement

Q-Tec Switchgear, a subsidiary of KBN Group, in collaboration with Siemens, has announced a strategic partnership aimed at the manufacturing and distribution of the esteemed Simoprime World brand of switchgear within Qatar.

Q-Tec stands as the sole Kahramaa-approved local manufacturer of Medium Voltage Switchgear in the region.

Through this partnership with Siemens, a prominent player in the electrical and engineering sectors globally, Qatar is now allowed to utilize locally produced Simoprime World switchgear.

The Simoprime World product range from Siemens is recognized for its exceptional performance and reliability, making it a preferred option for medium-voltage switchgear solutions worldwide, accommodating voltages up to 17.5kV and capable of handling currents up to 4000A with forced ventilation at 40kA.

By forming this alliance, both Siemens and Q-Tec have significantly bolstered their capabilities to provide advanced solutions to their clientele. This collaboration exemplifies the commitment of Siemens and Q-Tec to embrace world-class technologies and practices.
